Overview
RADVISION has been a leader in the video-over-IP market for more than 15 years. RADVISION was formed at a time when video conferencing was being performed over ISDN (switch digital networks), and the idea of running video over the IP data network was just starting. RADVISION was very instrumental in the definition and eventual ratification of the standard called H.323 that governs video over IP. Since then, RADVISION has created a business unit that provides protocol stacks and toolkits to developers of these 323 conferencing devices. Today, over 80% of video conferencing products using H.323 are developed using RADVISION protocol stacks. RADVISION has developed additional protocol stacks for SIP and IMS, and they power the majority of today’s conferencing solutions.
